The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme

 

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award spans the Explorer and Network sections of Scouting.

 

• The Bronze Award is from 14+

• The Silver Award is from 15+

• The Gold Award is from 16+

 

All the Awards must be completed by your 25 birthday.

 

All the above Awards count towards the Platinum, Diamond and Queens Scout Awards.
At each level you are required to complete a Voluntary, Skill, Physical and Expedition section with the addition of a Residential section at Gold level only.

 

The time scales vary at each level of the Award ranging from 3 to 18 months.
